Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFConcept:
\(\rm Coefficient\ of\ variation= {(standard\ deviaiton)\over Mean } ×100 \)
Calculation:
Given,
\(\rm \overline X = 10\)
σ = 4
\(\rm CV ={\left({ \sigma \over \overline x}\right)\times 100}\)
∴ CV = \(\rm {4\over 10}\times100 = 40\)
So, new CV = \(\rm {\left({ \sigma \over \overline x\ +\ 10}\right)\times 100}\)
∴ new CV =\(\rm {4\over (10\ +\ 10)}\times 100\)
∴ new CV = 20
