The AP EDCET application forms have been released by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education on April 8, 2025. Candidates who wish to appear for the AP EDCET can now submit their applications online. The entrance exam is conducted for admission into B.Ed. Regular Course and B.Ed. Special Education programs offered by the University, Government, Aided, and Private Colleges of Education across Andhra Pradesh for the Academic Year 2025-2026.

How to Apply for AP EDCET Application Form 2025?

Candidates can apply online for the AP EDCET Application Form by following the steps given below for seamless experience:

Step 1: Go to the official website @ https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EDCET/.

Step 2: After visiting the official portal, click on the “Fee Payment” option mentioned on the page. 

Step 3: Enter the information in the space such as Hall Ticket Number, name, mobile number, date of birth, Email ID mode of payment, etc. Now pay the application fee. After that, take the printout of the receipt of the application fees.

Step 4: After completing the payment process, return to the main page and hit the “Fill Application Form” option. 

Step 5: Now enter Payment Reference ID, Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.

Step 6: Click on the “Proceed to Fill Application Form” button.

Step 7: Now fill the application with your details like Personal details, Educational Qualification, Category, Contact, and other required details.

Step 8. Click on the “Submit” button and take the printout of the application form which has the registration number for future usage.

AP EDCET Application Fees 2025

Candidates applying for the AP EDCET 2025 are required to pay the application fees through online mode. The registration fees is Rs.600/ for the General category, Rs.550 for BC category and Rs.500 for SC/ST categories. Payment can be made using any of the following methods: Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.

AP EDCET 2025: Eligibility Details

The Key Highlights of the AP EDCET Eligibility Criteria are given below:

• Candidates should have Indian Nationality.
• Candidates should have passed or appeared for a bachelor's degree from a recognized University
• The candidates should have completed the age of 19 years on 1st July 2025 to be eligible for the post.

AP EDCET 2025 Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The AP EDCET exam is conducted for admission into B.Ed regular courses and B.ED Special Education in the Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2025-26. We have shared below the AP EDCET exam pattern for the reference of the candidates

• A total of 150 questions will be asked in the exam
• The duration of the common entrance exam is two hours
• The question paper comprises three parts- General English, General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude, and Methodology.
• The question paper will be in English and Telugu except for the English methodology. However, candidates opting to write the Entrance Test in Urdu shall be served with an Urdu paper.
