Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant 2025 Selection Process 

The selection procedure for the Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant is as follows:

Stage-I INET exam

The Stage I-INET Exam will be conducted for SSR(MED) 02/2025 and 02/2026 batch in May 25. Based on the marks obtained in stage I – INET, candidates will be shortlisted for stage II for SSR (MED) 02/2025 and 02/2026 separately. The question paper FOR Stage-I INET will be a computer-based test with a total of 100 questions, each carrying a 01 mark.

Stage II SSR (MED)

Medical examination will be conducted by authorised military doctors as per medical standards prescribed in current regulations applicable on entry. Also, any candidate, if found to have predominant characteristics of the opposite gender as evidenced by external physical examination, will be rejected as unfit. Any candidate having undergone gender reassignment surgery will be declared unfit. The minimum height standard for males is 157 cm.

 Note:- Candidates born between 01 Sep 2004 and 31 Dec 2008 are eligible to apply for INET 2025. Further, candidates shall be eligible for the Stage II recruitment process of the respective batch as per the age criteria shown above. 

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must be qualified in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) from the Boards of School Education recognised by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India with 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum 40% in each subject. 

Note: Candidates who are appearing in the class 12th Board Exam of the academic year 2024-25 are also eligible to apply provided they fulfil all other eligibility criteria. Such candidates, however, shall only be selected when they produce the original mark sheet during the subsequent stages of the recruitment process (Internet copy of mark sheet not acceptable) and should score the minimum laid down marks in aggregate as well as in individual subjects for the respective category for being eligible for recruitment.
