If your SBI Clerk Mains 2025 exam is scheduled for an upcoming shift, it’s essential to go in with the right strategy and mindset. Based on the 1st and 2nd shift analysis held on 10th April, here are some last-minute but powerful tips that can boost your performance and confidence.
Revise Current Affairs (Last 5–6 Months):
Focus on recent schemes, banking updates, awards, summits, and important appointments. Pay special attention to topics like BRICS, UPI, World Economic Forum, and major economic reports.
Prioritize Accuracy Over Attempts:
Avoid guesswork. Accuracy plays a major role in mains exams as there's negative marking. Attempt only the questions you are confident about.
Manage Time Section-Wise:
Don’t spend too much time on any one section, especially puzzles or lengthy DI. Stick to the time limit allotted per section.
Focus on High-Weightage Topics:
In Reasoning, expect complex puzzles and statement-based questions. In Quant, practice DI sets, arithmetic, and number series. For English, revise RC, para jumbles, and grammar rules.
Keep Calm During the Exam:
Stay relaxed and don’t panic if a few questions seem tough. Start with your stronger areas to build momentum.
Read Questions Carefully:
Many questions, especially in GA and Reasoning, may be tricky. Read each one carefully before answering.
Don’t Ignore Computer Aptitude Basics:
Revise basic computer terms and logic-based questions that often appear under the Reasoning & Computer Aptitude section.
Avoid Last-Minute Cramming:
Focus on revision and mock tests instead of trying to learn new topics. Keep your mind fresh for the exam day.
