Formula used:
If x and y are unit digit and tenth place digit of a two-digit number
Then the number = 10y + x
Calculation:
Let unit place digit be x thus tens place digit will be 2x.
Now, According to the question,
x + 2x = 9
⇒ 3x = 9
⇒ x = \(\frac{ 9}{3}\) = 3
So, tens place digit = 2(3) = 6
Thus, the required 2-digit number is 63.
