Given:

Candidates passed from institute C = 8

Candidates passed from institute D = 26

Candidates appeared from institute B = 24

Candidates appeared from institute E = 20

Formula used:

Percentage = \(\frac{\text{candidate passed}}{\text{candidate appeared}}\times100 \)

Calculations:

⇒ Total candidate passed in institution C and D = 8 + 26 = 34

⇒ Total candidate appeared in institution B and E = 24 + 20 = 44

According to the formula,

⇒ Percentage = \(\frac{\text{34}}{\text{44}}\times100 \) = 77%

⇒ Hence, The percentage is 77%
