Concept

The self-inductance of a coil is given by:

\(L={N\times ϕ\over I}\)

where, L = Inductance

N = No. of turns

ϕ = Flux

l  = Current

So, self-inductance is directly proportional to both magnetic flux and the number of turns in the coil.
