Two types of dispersion mainly occur:

1) Intra-modal dispersion- in all types of fiber occurs

2) Intermodal dispersion- only in multimode fiber occurs

Intermodel dispersion is two types: it mainly depends on fiber material

a) Material dispersion-

In this different wavelength and different speed is considered in optical fiber.
