वर्ग अंतराल का मध्य मान = (L1 + L2)/2
L1 = निम्न सीमा

गणना:
द्वितीय वर्ग के लिए मध्य मान (L1 + L2)/2 होगा
यहाँ L1 और L2 वर्ग अंतराल के निम्न मान और ऊपरी मान हैं
30 और 39 का मध्य बिंदु = (L1 + L2)/2
⇒ (30 + 39)/2 = 34.5
⇒ 39 और 48 का मध्य बिंदु
⇒ (39 + 48)/2 = 43.5
⇒ निम्न सीमा (L1 = 34.5)
⇒ ऊपरी सीमा (L2 = 43.5)
