गणना:
मान लीजिए कि पुरुष की दक्षता M इकाई है और महिला की दक्षता W इकाई है।
प्रश्न के अनुसार,
कुल कार्य = (12M + 12W) × 9 ---(1)
कुल कार्य = (6M + 15W) × 12 ---(2)
⇒ (12M + 12W) × 9 = (6M + 15W) × 12
