The energy consumed by electrical appliances is given by:

E = P × t

E = I2R × t

where, E = Energy

I = Current

R = Resistance

t = Time

Calculation

Given, I = 100 mA = 0.1 A

R = 10 Ω 

t = 2 min = 120 sec

E = 0.12 × 10 × 120
