Given:

Length of cuboid = 4 units

Breadth of cuboid = 6 units

Height of cuboid = 8 units

Formula used:

Total surface area = 2 × (LB + BH + HL)

Where, L = length; B = breadth; H = height

Calculation:

Total surface area = 2 × (LB + BH + HL)

⇒ 2 × {(4 × 6) + (6 × 8) + (8 × 4)}

⇒ 2 × {24 + 48 + 32}

⇒ 2 × 104 = 208 units²

Now,

Area of square = total surface area of the cuboid

⇒ (Side)² = 208

⇒ Side = √208 = 14.42 units

∴ The correct answer is 14.42 units.
