- इन्होंने दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के हिंदी-विभाग में अनुसंधान वैज्ञानिक, एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर के रूप में काम किया।
- इनकी अध्यक्षता में ही सर्वप्रथम दलित लेखक संघ बना।
- इसी संघ ने दिल्ली में जेनयू सिटी सेंटर, मंडी हाउस में दो बड़े स्तर के राष्ट्रीय सेमिनार आयोजित करवाये।
- इन्हें कई सम्मान मिल चुके हैं।
- 15 जुलाई, 2014 को इनका निधन हुआ।
