BPSSC Range Officer Eligibility Criteria 2025
Eligibility is one of the most important parameters that every candidate should take care of before applying for the post. That's why we have provided age limit and educational qualification eligibility details.
Bachelor Degree in related subject (Veterinary medicine/ Plant Science/ Chemistry/ Geology, Mathematics/ Physics or its equivalent) or Degree in Agriculture Forestry or Engineering from a recognised university.

The selection process comprises three stages as mentioned below.
The board will conduct the written test which comprises two papers of 100 and 300 marks as the first stage of the selection process. Candidates who will qualify the written test will become eligible for the second round
Shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for the interview process. The board will conduct the interview to test the personality of the candidate
To check the mental and physical fitness, physical efficiency and the standard test will be conducted. Candidates who will qualify the fitness round will be called for the medical fitness round. This is the last stage of the selection process, the board will release the selected list of candidates once all the stages of the selection process are over.
The candidates shortlisted in all the above mentioned rounds will be called for the Medical Examination Round. They will be examined for Medical Fitness. After this, the final merit list will be prepared.

Candidates who will clear the written test will be eligible for the interview process. The interview round will consist of 50 marks, marks of the interview and written test will be combined together.
Once the candidates clear the written test he/she will be called for the next stage that is the interview. Candidates who will clear the interview will be next called for the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test. In this test candidates, physical standard physical efficiency will be checked. The board will conduct a series of events to check the physical fitness of the candidate.
