The BPSC Exam Marking Scheme has been shared by the official BPSC CCE Recruitment Notification. Candidates can use this marking scheme to calculate their expected marks with help of the BPSC CCE answer key. The Preliminary Exam will feature 150 questions pertaining to current affairs, general knowledge, history, geography, and various other topics pertaining to India and Bihar in specific. To calculate your marks refer to the marking scheme below.
BPSC Main Exam is descriptive in nature and comprises 4 papers out of which 1 is optional. The marks for this section will be allotted by the examiner depending on how effectively the candidate has answered each question. Some details about the mains exam are:
The BPSC 71st CCE Merit List will be published on the official website after completion of the selection process. The merit list comprises the names of the candidates who have scored more than the minimum qualifying marks as well as the official BPSC 71th CCE Cut Off marks.
The BPSC Merit List is released by the BPSC after each of the three stages of the BPSC Selection Process. The candidates whose names feature in the final merit list are eligible for recruitment against the advertised vacancies under BPSC Combined Competitive Exam Recruitment.

In order to be eligible for the BPSC main exam under the 71st CCE, candidates must score more than or equal to the minimum marks prescribed by the BPSC. It is pertinent to mention that merely scoring more than the qualifying marks in the preliminary exam will not make the candidates eligible for the main exam. The selection of candidates for the main exam will be based on the BPSC 70th CCE Cut Off for the main exam.

In the case of a tie between two or more students for the BPSC Prelims result , i.e. two or more students scoring the same marks, the decision of the BPSC is final and binding. There is no specific information provided by the BPSC on how they handle cases of tie resolution.
