The Osmania University, Hyderabad releases the TS EDCET Result 2025 on its official portal. As per the official notification. The TS EDCET Result will be announced a few days after that. The Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET) is conducted through Computer Based Test for admission into a 2-year B.ED Course. The Key Highlights are:

How to Calculate Marks for the TS EDCET Entrance Exam?

The authority will release a provisional answer key using which the candidates can get their estimated marks even before the TS EDCET result is announced. Follow the steps mentioned below to arrive at the tentative marks easily.

TS EDCET Result 2025: Normalization Process

TS EDCET 2025 shall be conducted in multiple sessions. A candidate will be allowed to appear only in one session. Since the question paper is different for each session, there are chances of variation in the difficulty level of the question paper on the same subject. Thus, it is decided to adopt a normalization process to eliminate any such variations in the difficulty levels of various sessions and brings all the candidates across all the sessions on one comparative scale. During the normalization process, the marks of the easy section will be reduced marginally and the hard session may increase marginally on the global scale. As per the previous year's notification, the following normalization process was adopted to avoid the advantage/disadvantage of candidates in a specific session compared to another session.

Normalized marks of Candidate: GASD + GTA-GASD/STA-SASD X (Marks Obtained by the candidate in the subject in a session-SASD)

TS EDCET Result 2025: Tie Breaking Rule

• If there is a tie in the total marks, then the subject/content marks will be taken into consideration for deciding the relative ranking,
• If the tie still persists, the marks secured in Teaching Aptitude will be taken into account.
• In case of a further tie, General English will be taken into consideration for deciding relative ranking.
• If the tie still persists, General Knowledge & Educational Issues will be taken into consideration to decide the relative ranking and in case of a further tie, Computer Awareness shall be taken into account to decide the relative ranking.
• In case of candidates secure equal marks in each part of the paper, they shall be bracketed for the purpose of the award of rank. At the time of admission, the age shall be taken into account for the relative ranking among bracketed candidates and the older candidates shall be given preference.
