Logical Reasoning

Coding & Decoding: Coding by Letter Shifting, Coding by Analogy, Coding in Fictitious Language, Coding Letters of a Word

Inequalities: Coded Relations between letters to be decoded and solved, Based on Mathematical Operations

Syllogisms: Direct questions with 2-3 statements & 2-3 conclusions, possibility-based questions, and negative information-based questions.

Double Lineup: Arrangement based on multiple related data sets given

Linear Seating Arrangement: Single or Double rows facing each other/ away from each other/ in the same direction

Circular Seating Arrangement: Uni- & Bi-directional problems on circular, square, rectangular, and hexagonal tables. May be combined with other information to make it a Blood Relations or Double Lineup type problem as well.

Floor Puzzle: Puzzles based on the floor

Scheduling: Seven different persons work in 3 different departments. Not more than 2 works in each department. Some of them are males & some of them are females.

Data Sufficiency: Scheduling, Blood Relation, Direction and Distance, Linear Arrangement, Circular Arrangement, Order & Ranking, Miscellaneous.

Arrangement & Pattern: Random Sequence of Alphabets (based on a group of 5 terms each of 3 alphabets OR series of alphabets), Number Arrangements (based on a group of 5 terms each of 3 digits OR series of numbers), Mixed Series Dictionary or Alphabet based Arrangements, etc.

Blood Relations: General Blood Relationship problems, Family Tree Problems, Coded Blood Relations

Ordering & Ranking: Floor Based Puzzles, Arranging by age, height, weight, rank, the order in a row, etc.

Directions & Distances: Arranging by age, height, weight, rank, the order in a row, etc.

Verbal Reasoning: Letter-based, Meaningful Words-based, GK-based, Number based.

Miscellaneous: Questions based on Number System, Averages, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time Speed & Distance, Time & Work, Problems on Age, Mensuration, Mixtures & Alligations, Basic Selection & Arrangement Problems, Very basic problems on Probability, Calculation-oriented basic percentage, Average Weight/Height/Age/Marks, Average Money Expenditure, Average Temperature, etc. But the concept remains simple. We have to use a single formula i.e. Average = Sum of Quantities/Number of Quantities, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Simple & Compound, Installments, Work Efficiency, Work & Wages, Pipe & Cistern, Partial Speed, Relative Speed, Average Speed, Boat & River, Problems on Train, etc.

Linear Seating Arrangement: Single or Double rows facing each other in the same/opposite direction with one more variable. May be mixed up with other information like Blood Relations, Order & Ranking to make it tricky.

Circular Seating Arrangement: Uni & Bi-directional problems on circular, square, rectangular, and hexagonal tables. It may be a square inside a square or a circle within a circle and persons sitting in a smaller square facing outside & in a bigger square are facing inside.

Puzzle: Double line up, Floor Puzzle with 2 or 3 flats on each floor

Cloze Test: Single passage with 5-10 blanks. Sometimes one word is also given as a suggestion along with the blanks in brackets.

Para Jumbles/Sentence Jumble/Odd Sentence Out: Para Jumbles, Find the odd sentence.

Fill in the Blanks/Sentence Completion/Para Completion: A long sentence or paragraph will be given with one part of it missing, Double Filler

Word Association Pair: Four words will be given and you need to determine which two words have either synonyms or antonyms relation between them. Your knowledge of vocabulary is tested.
