The Uttar Pradesh Public Services Commission (UPPSC) has released the UPPSC APO Eligibility for the post of Assistant Prosecution Officer. To be eligible to attend the UPPSC APO Exam, the applicant must fulfill all the UPPSC APO Eligibility Criteria as stated by the commission. These eligibility criteria must be met by the candidates to assert their suitability for the post. The UPPSC APO Eligibility Criteria are based on age limit, educational qualification, nationality, experience, and number of attempts. The UPPSC APO eligibility criteria for 2024 include several key requirements. Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 40. No prior work experience is needed, making it accessible to recent graduates. Additionally, candidates must be Indian nationals. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts allowed for this position.

UPPSC APO Age Limit 

The UPPSC APO age limit for 2024 specifies that candidates must be between 21 and 40 years old. This range ensures that applicants have sufficient maturity and experience while also allowing for a broad pool of potential candidates. The age criteria are designed to align with the requirements of the Assistant Public Prosecutor role, balancing the need for experienced individuals with opportunities for younger applicants.

UPPSC APO Educational Qualification

In terms of educational qualification, the UPPSC does not have any major requirements. The candidates applying for the post of UPPSC APO must possess a Law Degree obtained from a recognized university/institution. Preference will be given to candidates who have served 2 years in the Territorial Army and are in possession of a “B” Certificate of NCC. 

UPPSC APO Nationality 

As per the Uttar Pradesh Public Services Commission, the applications from Indian nationals will be accepted. The applicants who do not possess Indian citizenship are not eligible for this post.

UPPSC APO Experience 

There are no eligibility criteria based on experience. The candidates need not have any prior experience for applying for the post. 

UPPSC APO Number of Attempts

The official notification by the UPPSC does not mention a set number of attempts that a candidate can use. The candidates can reapply till they have reached their maximum age limit as set by the UPPSC.
