A total of 58,40,861 applications have been received for the RRB NTPC (Graduate) posts under Notification CEN 05/2024 across all RRBs. Among these, 6,99,949 applications have been submitted specifically for RRB Mumbai. The application process is still under scrutiny, and the final count may change. How to Apply for RRB NTPC Exam Online 2024

The application process is very important for every candidate. Each and every candidate needs to carefully fill the application form without any tension. Below are the steps to apply for the RRB NTPC exam 2024.

RRB NTPC Registration Part-I

• Step 1: Click on the link for the RRB Zone you are wishing to apply to.
• Step 2: Clicking the link will redirect you to the main page, On the main page click on the link that states 'New Registration' to initiate the registration process.
• Step 3: Enter all important details like education qualification, the community (SC, ST), etc here.After filling in this information click on the Check Availability tab.
• Step 4: Complete the registration form by filling up details like your Name, Date of Birth, Aadhar Card Status, Mother’s Name, Father's Name Class 10th Details, Mobile no. , Email ID and click on the ’Continue’ tab as displayed on the screen.
• Step 5: Once the details have been filled a box will appear which consists of all the details filled by you. Click on the ‘I have verified and confirmed that all the details furnished by me are correct’ box or if you wish to change or review the details then tick on the ‘red box’.
• Step 6: When the registration process is finally completed, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile and email id no to generate the registration number.

RRB NTPC Registration Part-II

• Step 1: Once your OTP is received on your mobile number and email id, Login using the registration number your date of birth, and enter the captcha (if any).
• Step 2: The next step will be filling up the first part of the application form by entering up the details like marks obtained in class 12th, community (general, SC, ST), gender (Male, Female), nationality, religion, if you are you an Ex-Servicemen, or a PwBD category candidate, the domicile of e, etc. and click on the “Save” tap as displayed on your screen.
• Step 3: Next, you will be Selecting the mode of payment. If you want to pay from online mode then enter your bank details or take a printout of the post office challan to do the fee payment after 2 days.
• Step 4: Next, you will be uploading your photograph in the dimensions mentioned for the JPEG format, a signature is done in blank ink on any white surface and category certificate as specified. Candidates can use the Testbook resizer tool to edit the photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
• Step 5: Candidates who are eligible for a scribe, will also be given the facility to appoint a scribe if required.
• Step 6: Submit your application form by clicking the Submit button.
• Step 7: Download your application form and keep a print of the same for any future reference.

Modification for RRB NTPC Exam Application form 2024

The candidates can modify the application form even after the Final Submission of the RRB NTPC Application Form. The candidates need to pay INR 100/- as the modification fee which is non-refundable. The modification fee does not come under the application fee, it should be paid separately if the candidate wants to modify the application form. Here are the steps to Modify the RRB NTPC Exam Application form.

• Step 1: Click on the following link, you will be redirected to the official website of RRB.http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/index.php 
• Step 2: Find the notification “RRB NTPC Recruitment 2020”
• Step 3: Click on the Login button and Login using Registration Number and Password.
• Step 4: Pay the Modification fee by Credit card/Debit Card/Netbanking etc.
• Step 5: Click on Modify Application Button.
• Step 6: Make the necessary changes and submit the application form.
• Step 7: Take the print out of the latest application form.

Note: The modification of the application form can be done a maximum of two times only.

Important Points to be Remembered while Applying for RRB NTPC Exam 2024

• The candidates are advised to give the working email address and password as the communication regarding the exam takes place through email only.
• The Email ID and mobile number once opted during the registration process cannot be changed.
• Make sure all the information that is filled in the application is correct before the closing date of the application fee as the candidate cannot make the modifications once the application date is completed.

Here are the following reasons for RRB NTPC Application Rejection 2024

• Invalid photograph on the account of black and white, showing face one side, small size, Unclear, wearing the cap or goggles, Group Photo, Selfie photo, Online application without a photo.
• Signature in Block letters/Capital. The signature must be in running letters
• Not possessing prescribed Minimum educational qualification.
• Not satisfying the age criteria mentioned as per the RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria.
• Candidates name figuring in the RRB/RRC debarred list.
• Multiple applications to the same RRB or Different RRB exams. In such scenarios, all the applications will be rejected and the candidates will be debarred.
• Incomplete of Irrelevant information in the Application form.

Here are the documents required for RRB NTPC Application Process 2024

Candidates will be automatically directed to the Photo and Signature upload part of the application where they will have to fill the details as per the below given format.

NOTE: Candidates belonging to the SC/ST community who opts to avail Free Rail Travel are required to upload a scanned copy of SC/ST certificates. Candidates can use the Testbook Image resizing tool while filling the form.

• Matriculation/High School Examination Certificate or Equivalent certificate as Proof of Date of Birth and Matriculation Qualification. (The candidates' name and the father/ mothers' name mentioned in the application will be verified with reference to the names mentioned in this certificate.)10 +2 / Inter / Higher Secondary/PUC (As applicable)
• SC/ST certificate in the format as per Annexure - I. 
• OBC-NCL certificate in the format as per Annexure-II 
• Non-creamy layer declaration by OBC candidates as per Annexure II-A 
• Income Certificate for Waiving Examination Fee for Economically Backward Classes as per Annexure–III.
• Original discharge certificate for Ex-serviceman.
• Aadhaar Card: Photocopy of both sides of the Aadhaar Card of the candidate.
• Medical Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) as per Annexure –V(A), V(B), V(C) as applicable.
• NOC from serving employees with the date of appointment.
• NOC from Serving Defence Personnel with the probable date of discharge.
• Minority Community declaration on Non - judicial Stamp Paper.
•  Gazette notification and/or any Legal document in case of formal change of name.
• Receipt of payment is made through a challan at SBIbranch or Pay-in-slip at Computerized post office.
• Self Certification by the Transgender candidates.
• J & K domicile certificate.
• Certificate of eligibility from the Government of India.
• Decree of divorce/judicial separation from the competent Court of Law as applicable and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried.
• Death Certificate of spouse in case of widow candidate and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried.
• Self Declaration: Ex-Servicemen candidates who secure civil employment after applying for this post should give a self-declaration to the concerned employer about the details of application against this post.
