Incident power on turbine =\(\frac{d(mgh)}{dt}\)

=gh \(\frac{dm}{dt}\)

= 10 × 60 × 15 = 9000 W

Now, losses are 10% 

∴ power generated = \(\left( {1 - \frac{{10}}{{100}}} \right)\) × 9000

= 8100 W
