There are two numbers A and B, while A is 33.33% less than B. The product of LCM and HCF of A and B is 384.

Quantity I: 3AB

Quantity II: LCM of (6A – 6) and (3B – 7)

  1. Quantity I > Quantity II
  2. Quantity I < Quantity II
  3. Quantity I ≥ Quantity II
  4. Quantity I ≤ Quantity II
  5. Quantity I = Quantity II or no relation

Calculations:

Let, B is 3x

So, A = 3x × (100 – 33.33) /100 = 2x

So, 3x × 2x = 384

Or, 6x2 = 384,

Or, x2 = 384 / 6 = 64

So, x = 8

A is 2 × 8 = 16 and B =  3 × 8 = 24

Quantity I: 3 × 16 × 24 = 1152

Quantity II: LCM of (6A – 6) and (3B – 7)

LCM of [ 6 × 16 - 6 ] and [3 × 24 - 7 ] = LCM of 90 and 65 = 1170

Quantity I < Quantity II.
