Initial petrol volume = 20 liters,

Final petrol volume = 5.5 liters.

Concept used:

Percent change = ((final - initial) / initial) × 100.

Solution:

⇒ Percent change = ((5.5 - 20) / 20) × 100 = 72.5%

⇒ The percent change in petrol in the tank is 72.5%.

∴ The percent change is 72.5%.
