There are three Newton’s laws of motion.

Newton’s first law is also known as the law of inertia. It states that ‘an object will continue to stay at rest and an object in motion will remain in motion in the same direction and speed unless an unbalanced force acts upon it’.
Newton’s second law of motion states that ‘for a constant mass, force is equal to the product of mass and acceleration. Force is also equal to the change in momentum per change in time.
Newton’s third law of motion states that ‘for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
