Given:

Anil and Tirath drove between two points A and B 192 km apart.

Anil started the journey from point A at 8:20 a.m.; drove at a speed of 64 km/h; reached point B and immediately returned to A at the same speed.

Tirath started the journey from point A at 9:50 a.m.; drove at a speed of 96 km/h; reached point B and immediately returned to A at the same speed.

Calculation:

Anil takes to reach B 192 / 64 = 3hr

Tirath takes to reach 192 km i.e 192 / 96 = 2 hr

They will definitely meet in between 11:20 to 11:50

At 11:20 am the distance covered by Tirath is (192/120) × 90 = 144 km

Relative distance 192 - 144 = 48 km

Now relative speed is 96 + 64 = 160 km/hr

So time taken to cover 48 km is (60/160) × 48 = 18 mnts

So they will meet 18 minutes past 11:20

Time will be 11:20 am + 18minutes = 11: 38am

The correct option is A.
