II. 6 - 4 + 9 × 5 ÷ 3
Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFAccording to the BODMAS rule,
Given Equations :
- 6 - 5 × 9 + 8 ÷ 2
- 6 - 4 + 9 × 5 ÷ 3
Now,
I. 6 - 5 × 9 + 8 ÷ 2
After interchanging + and -, 6 and 9 respectively
⇒ 9 + 5 × 6 - 8 ÷ 2
⇒ 9 + 5 × 6 - 4
⇒ 9 + 30 - 4
⇒ 39 - 4 = 35.
II. 6 - 4 + 9 × 5 ÷ 3
After interchanging + and -, 6 and 9 respectively
⇒ 9 + 4 - 6 × 5 ÷ 3
⇒ 9 + 4 - 10
⇒ 13 - 10 = 3
Hence, the correct answer is "Option 3".
