The Indian Air Force (IAF) Agniveer selection process details have been released by the Indian Air Force along with the official notification. The candidates are advised to study the Indian Air Force Agniveer selection process given below to get an idea of the phases they have to clear to get an appointment. The authorities have made it clear that aspirants have to clear all the rounds of the Indian Air Force Agniveer exam to seek a final appointment.
- The Indian Air Force Agniveer selection process is going to have three phases viz, online test, PFT, adaptability test and medical verification.
- The written examination shall be conducted in the online mode with questions from three subjects: English, Mathematics, Physics and Reasoning ability.
- Candidates who clear the Indian Air Force Agniveer cut-off marks for phase 1 will be called to appear in the second phase.
- IAF has prescribed a number of tests that shall be conducted during the medical verification round of the Indian Air Force Agniveer selection process.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Phase 1: Online Test
Candidates who qualify for the Indian Air Force Agniveer eligibility shall be called for the first phase of the selection process which is an online test. This round shall be held across the country at the designated centres.
- The examination shall be conducted in English and Hindi language
- The questions asked in the Indian Air Force Agniveer exam shall be of objective nature.
- A marking scheme that accounts for 1 mark for the correct answer and 0.25 marks for the incorrect answer has been notified.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Phase 2
Candidates who successfully clear the Indian Air Force Agniveer result for the first round shall be called for the phase 2 round only. This phase is going to have multiple stages the details of which can be found below.
Eligibility Verification
The candidates have to make sure that the following documents are carried to phase 2 of the Indian Air Force Agniveer selection process.
- Colour printout of Indian Air Force Agniveer admit card for Phase-II.
- Colour printout of duly filled application form downloaded on completion of online registration.
- Eight copies of unattested passport size colour photograph (which was used for the online application registration).
- Original and four self-attested photocopies of matriculation passing certificate (required for verification of candidateβs name, fatherβs name and his date of birth).
- Original and four self-attested photocopies of matriculation marks sheet (only applicable for three years Diploma Course holders when English is not a subject in diploma course).
- Original and four self-attested photocopies of Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination passing certificate and marksheet.
OR
- Original and four self-attested photocopies of three years diploma course passing certificate and marks sheets of all semesters.
OR
- Original and four self-attested photocopies of two years vocational course passing certificates and all marks sheets including a non-vocational course with subjects English, Physics and Mathematics.
- Certificate for SOAFP (Son of Air Force Personnel), including a certificate for sons of serving/retired/ deceased Air Force civilian employees paid out of defence estimates is to be downloaded as the case may be, from the download section of CASB web portal and brought along while reporting for Phase - II of the examination.
- Original Phase-I admit card used during Phase-I test bearing Air Force seal and invigilatorβs signature.
- Original and four self-attested photocopies of NCC βAβ, βBβ or βCβ certificate (if applicable).

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates who qualify for the IAF Agniveer selection process stage of document verification round will be required to adhere to the Physical Fitness Standards listed in the table below.

Adaptability Test- I
This test shall check the involvement of deployment in varied geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions.
Adaptability Test- II
This test is going to test the candidateβs ability to adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and be able to adjust to the military way of life.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Phase 3: Medical Test
The medical test is the third round of the selection process and is held before allotting a final appointment within the Indian Air Force Agniveer job profile. The name of the medical tests that shall be conducted can be checked in the section below.
- Blood Haemogram - Hb, TLC, DLC
- Urine RE/ME
- Biochemistry
- Blood Sugar Fasting & PP
- Serum Cholesterol
- Urea, Uric acid, Creatinine
- LFT- Serum Bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT
- X-Ray chest (PA view)
- ECG (R)
- Tests for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Abuse.
- Any other test necessary in the opinion of the Medical Officer
