Computer-Based Test (CBT)

The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at various exam centers across the country. The exam lasts for three hours and consists of multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Candidates must answer a total of 60 questions, with three marks awarded for each correct response and a penalty of one mark for incorrect answers. Proper time management and thorough subject knowledge are essential to perform well in the test.

The IISER 2025 admit card was issued for download on May 15, 2025, on the official website at https://iiseradmission.in/. Candidates who have registered can access it using their login credentials. It is a mandatory document that must be carried to the exam centre and kept safe until the admission process is completed.
