Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test(UPCATET) is conducted for the students domiciled in Uttar Pradesh by Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda, for various Undergraduate, Post Graduate, and PH.D. courses specialised in Agricultural Technology. UPCATET 2022 Results were released on June 30 2022 on the official website and the counselling process commenced on July 3, 2022.The candidates need to choose the right college according to their needs. The Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda was established on 2nd March 2010 under Uttar Pradesh Agriculture University Act (revised) 1958 Gazette-Adhiniyam 2010 for the development of the agriculture and allied sectors of the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh. 

The main University Campus, covering 948 acres, is located on Banda-Kanpur road on the junction of the bypass road at the Mahoba. The campus is 6 Km away from the Railway station and 5 Km from the bus stand in Banda. The university is offering 300 seats for UPCATET 2022.

Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology

Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya was established on October 10, 1975. The Uttar Pradesh Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1958 was amended in 1974 to establish this university. 

University is located on Ayodhya-Raibareilly road at 43 Km. from Ayodhya and 25 Km. away from Jagdishpur which is located at Lucknow-Sultanpur road. The University offers 453 seats for UPCATET 2022.

It is situated at Roorkee Road (NH 58), 15 Km away from Sourabh gate bus stand, 12.5 Km from Bhaisali bus stand, and 15.5 Km from Meerut City Railway Station and 13.5 Km from Meerut Cantt Railway Station. The University is well connected by road, the mode of conveyance being bus/Auto rickshaw/Taxi. The University offers 452 seats for UPCATET 2022.

Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology

Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur came into existence by an Act of Uttar Pradesh Legislature and was created vide Uttar Pradesh Shashan Krishi Anubhag-4 notification, with the merger of two constituent colleges, the erstwhile Govt. Agriculture College, Kanpur and College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Mathura. 

Kanpur is situated on the Howrah-Delhi route of the Northern Railway. The university is located 8.4 Km North-West at Kanpur Central Railway/Bus station. The university is well connected by road, the mode of conveyance being rickshaw/auto-rickshaw and taxi. Etawah campus is situated on NH-2 at a distance of 169 Km from Kanpur towards Delhi. The Engineering College, Etawah is 2 Km far from Etawah Railway Station and near B.R. Ambedkar, the district Hospital. The University has 510 seats for UPCATET 2022.

What Before & After the UPCATET Entrance Examination?

UPCATET 2022 is a state-level exam. The candidates have to fill out the registration form in online mode to the official website of the exam. Candidates had to visit the official website and click on the New Registration tab and click on the I Agree on the checkbox. Candidates have to fill out the basic details followed by which the registration credentials will be generated. Then, log in and fill up the complete form and pay the application fee online. 

The UPCATET 2022 Counselling process started on July 3. The Universities will release the merit list and the shortlisted candidates will have to fill out the counselling application process. The counselling is conducted in a program-wise manner, starting with the undergraduate programs. The candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fee to secure their seat.

UPCATET College List: Required Documents for Counselling

The candidates have to upload the documents during the filling of the form. Then, they have to bring those documents during the Counselling process too. The candidates should borrow the following documents:

• A downloaded copy of the online application form duly attested by the Registrar/Principal/Dean of the most recent college/institution attended
• Original and attested photocopies of Bachelor and Master Degree course mark sheets and certificates Original copy of sport weightage certificate
• Five passport-sized photos with your name and roll number written on the back
• An affidavit explaining a break of more than three months after leaving the college/institution last attended.
• Photocopies of Class X and XII certificates and mark sheets that have been attested
• The competent authority issued a domicile certificate for the state of Uttar Pradesh.
• Original character and conduct certificate from the Head of the most recently attended college/institution
• Original copy of an OBC category certificate issued after March 31, 2022, or valid on the date of counselling
• Original copy of transfer/ migration certificate
