The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is an exam conducted by IIT Bombay. There are various colleges under UCEED 2022, where design students can apply for admission. UCEED Colleges in India where UCEED scores for B.Des admission are considered are IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIITDM Jabalpur and IIT Delhi. Admission for B.Des in various colleges depends upon the scores acquired in the UCEED exam. Admission in these institutes will be based on UCEED merit list and choice of the candidate. ITs are affiliated with a number of result-sharing institutes. These institutes allocate specific seats in their undergraduate programmes for admission through UCEED.

IIT DELHI 

Established in 1961, was formally inaugurated in August 1961 by Prof. Humayun Kabir, Minister of Scientific Research & Cultural Affairs. First admissions were made in 1961. Globally acclaimed research university and engineering institute located in Hauz Khas in South Delhi, Delhi, India. It is one of the oldest Indian Institutes of Technology in India. IIT Delhi has a total of 129 courses through UG, PG, and PhD degrees.

IIT GUWAHATI:

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. IIT JABALPUR:

In 2005, the institute began operations on the campus of Jabalpur Engineering College while its permanent home was built. The institute has been given a campus of 500 acres (2.0 km2), which is adjacent to the Domestic Airport and the Dumna Nature Reserve Park.

What before & after the UCEED entrance examination?

The optimal time to begin UCEED 2023 study is six months before the admission exam. UCEED is a skill-based admission test that assesses a candidate's inventiveness, observation and visualization abilities, and problem-solving abilities. Candidates should: 

• Have a thorough understanding of the UCEED 2022 syllabus.
• Learn about the UCEED test structure and scoring system.
• Make a schedule (monthly, weekly, and daily).
• Work through previous years' question papers, sample papers, and mock examinations.

Get category-wise UCEED Cut Off marks as per IIT Bombay norms

Candidates who have passed UCEED 2022 and received a rank can register to participate in the UCEED session's counselling and seat allocation. Through the counselling process, students will be admitted to UCEED participating institutes in 2022.

UCEED College List: Required documents for Counselling

Candidates who clear the exam are required to report for the counselling process. The seats for the counselling process are allotted according to the choice of preference selected by the candidate at the time of the exam. Candidates should make sure they have all these documents to participate in the counselling process.
