RRB Group D Application Fee 2025

- General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 500/-
- SC/ST/EBC/Female/Transgender: Rs. 250/-
Refund Amount (On Appearing for CBT)
- For General/OBC: If you appear for the 1st Stage CBT, Rs. 400 will be refunded from the Rs. 500 fee after deducting bank charges.
- For SC/ST/PWD/Women/Ex-Servicemen/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward Candidates: The full Rs. 250 fee will be refunded after deducting bank charges upon appearing for the 1st Stage CBT.
Documents Required For Railway RRB Group D 2025 Form

RRB Group D 2025 Selection Process
To get recruited, Candidates must undergo 3 stages of the RRB Group D selection process. They need to qualify for each stage of the selection process in the technical department of the Indian Railways.
1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is the first stage of the Railway Group D selection process, featuring multiple-choice questions on General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness. It assesses candidates' basic knowledge and skills. If a second stage CBT is needed, the Railway Administration may use the first stage as a qualifying test for shortlisting.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) assesses candidates' physical fitness for RRB Group D roles. Male candidates must carry 35 kg for 100 meters in under 2 minutes and run 1000 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds. Female candidates must carry 20 kg for 100 meters and complete a 1000-meter run in 5 minutes 40 seconds. This test ensures candidates meet the job's physical requirements.
3. Document Verification
The third stage of the RRB Group D selection process requires candidates who pass the CBT and PET to present original documents for verification. This step confirms eligibility based on qualifications, age, and other criteria. Failure to provide correct documents or meet requirements results in disqualification.
4. Medical Test
The final stage ensures candidates are physically and medically fit for the job. It includes checks on visual acuity and general fitness based on the post applied for. Those who do not meet the required medical standards are disqualified. limitations.
Railway Group D 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements based on nationality, education, and age limit to apply for the RRB Group D recruitment process.
Nationality
A candidate must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A citizen of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or specific East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) to settle in India permanently.
Candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, and other countries must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Railway Group D - Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 10th grade (Matriculation), ITI, or hold an equivalent qualification.
- A National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT is also accepted.
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering is not accepted as a substitute for ITI or Course Completed Act Apprentices unless specified.
- Candidates awaiting their final exam results for the required qualification are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have completed Course Completed Act Apprenticeship from any trade can apply.
RRB Group D - Age limit
Candidates must be between 18 to 36 years old as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxation is provided as per government rules.

RRB Group D 2025 Exam Pattern
The Railway Administration may conduct the CBT in either a single or multi-stage format. Candidates who qualify in the CBT will undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination. RRB Group D 2025 Result
