PGIMER Junior Administrative Assistant 2023: Scribe Information

The facility of Scribe/Reader/Lab Assistant and extra time will be exercised for a person with benchmark disability in the category of blindness, locomotor disability (both arms affected) & cerebral palsy if they request the PGIMER to do so while filling up the online application form. For other categories of persons with benchmark disabilities, the provision of scribe will be provided to produce a certificate that the candidate has physical limitations to write and need a scribe to write examinations on his/her behalf from the Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent of a Government health care institution. There will be a compensatory time of not less than 20 minutes for every half an hour during the test

For engaging the scribe, candidates will have to fill in the necessary details and respond in this regard in the online application form and intimate the PGIMER through email at the time while filling the online application form. Candidates won’t be allowed to engage a scribe in the examination without such information in the application form and advance intimation. A separate Call Letter will be issued to the scribe accompanying the candidate and signed by both candidate and the scribe. Scribes should bring a passport-size photograph. The change of scribe will not be exercised. However, if there is an emergency, it will be granted upon providing valid proof.

PGIMER Junior Administrative Assistant Exam Pattern 2023 

The candidates will be selected for the PGIMER Junior Administrative Assistant post based on their performance in the following stages of the selection process:

• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Skill Test
• Document Verification

Applicant's appearance in all the selection stages (test) is compulsory. Absence in any of the stages will lead to the candidate's disqualification. The PGIMER Junior Administrative Assistant exam pattern for all the stages is as follows:

Computer-Based Test

• The medium of the Computer-based test will be English. The final selection will be based purely on marks scored in the computer-based test.
• The Exam will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions for a maximum of 100 marks for 1 hour and 40 minutes. 
• For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. 
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 (14) mark for incorrect answers.

Skill Test

A Skill Test will be the second stage in the selection process. This skill test will be qualifying in nature and is mandatory for all shortlisted candidates.
