DSSSB Staff Nurse Syllabus and Exam Pattern are released by the board in the official notification. Candidates must go through the DSSSB Staff Nurse Syllabus and Exam Pattern and understand it thoroughly. It will enable the candidates to prepare the best preparation strategy to ace the exam. The DSSSB Staff Nurse selection process comprises a written exam. This exam will be conducted by the DSSSB as per the schedule specified in the notification. • The written exam will feature objective-type multiple-choice questions and will be divided into two sections, i.e. Section A and Section B.
• The duration of the examination will be 120 minutes, i.e. 2 hours.
• There will be negative marking in this exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
• Visually handicapped candidates will get 40 minutes extra on top of the 2-hour duration for the exam.
• The question paper will be bilingual, i.e. it will come in both Hindi and English.
• Candidates will have to score the minimum qualifying marks in order to get into the DSSSB Staff Nurse Merit List.

Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria in order to be eligible to appear for the exam. DSSSB Staff Nurse Exam Pattern 2024

DSSSB Staff Nurse Exam Pattern will be divided into two sections, i.e. Section A and Section B. Section A will be common for all candidates, and Section B will be different for all candidates according to the post they applied for. Here are the detailed instructions for both the Sections of the question paper.

Section A

• Section A will be for 100 marks in total. This section is common for all the candidates, irrespective of the post they have applied for.
• There will be negative marking in this exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. However, there will be no negative marking for unattempted questions.
• The total duration of the exam in 2 hours. So, judging by that, it will be efficient if a candidate can complete section A in 1 hour.
• Each question in Section A will hold 1 mark. Section A will mainly focus on 5 subjects, which will be common for all candidates.

Section B

• Section B will be different for all candidates according to the post they apply for.
• Section B will consist of subject-wise questions as per the subjects concerned for a particular post.
• Section B will consist of 100 questions with the weightage of 1 mark per query.
• There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. No negative marking for unattempted queries.
• The total duration of the exam is 2 hours. So, it will be efficient if a candidate can complete this part in 1 hour.

The merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in both Section A and Section B. In case a candidate fails to score the minimum qualifying marks, their names will not feature in the merit list issued by DSSSB.
