Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) is an undergraduate level exam administered by the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER). The exam was conducted in two phases dated 29, 30, 31 May, 1, 2 June 2023. Eligible candidates will also be granted scholarships by the institution. The minimum age requirement for the BEEE exam is 17 years and the applicant must not exceed the age of 25 at the time of application. To check their qualifying status, the candidates can log in online and download the merit list released by the exam conducting authority. To download the result, the candidates will need their admit card number and their mobile number. Qualified candidates will be called for the counseling round where they will be allotted seats based on their merit list rank, availability of seats and colleges selected during the choice filling round. The Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) was implemented on 29, 30, 31 May, 1, 2 June 2023 by the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER). The aim for the administration of the exam is to allot admission to candidates wishing to pursue higher studies in eminent colleges and universities offering BE/B.Tech courses.

What is BEEE?

BEEE is the short form of Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination which is conducted by the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER), Chennai yearly. The BEEE exam is conducted in two phases offering admission to candidates in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. By clearing the BEEE exam, the candidates can pursue BE/BtTech courses in prestigious universities accepting BEEE scores. 

BEEE Application Process 2023

The application process must be vigilantly carried out by the applicants. The candidates should not rush this process and avoid any kinds of mistakes and errors. The application form can be filled by following the the instructions listed below: 

Step 1: Open the official website of BEEE. 

Step 2: Confirm the password generated during the registration process.

Step 3: Login with your User ID and password. 

Step 4: Carefully add all the required information in the provided space. 

Step 5: Upload the signature. Use the prescribed method

Step 6: Pay the applicable fees to complete the applicable form.

BEEE Registration Process 2023

The applicants will be able to fill the BEEE application form on the completion of the registration process. All the BEEE 2023 communications will be sent to this email id and mobile number. Requests for change of mobile number/email id/correspondence address will not be entertained by the institute under any circumstances. The registration process for the BEEE involves the following steps: 

Step 1: Read the general instructions carefully and only then enter all the required details carefully avoiding any mistakes. 

Step 2: The institute will send a User id and Password to the candidate's registered email id. 

Step 3: Save the User ID and password on your device to download other documents like admit card and result. 

BEEE Application Fee

The application fee for all the candidates is the same for all the candidates. The applicants have to pay Rs. 1000 as the application fee at the end of the application process. To pay the application fee, the candidates may use any one of the following payment methods: 

• Net banking 
• Credit card 
• Debit card

BEEE Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria to appear for the BEEE exam is elaborated below: 

Nationality

• Candidates should be Indian nationals residing in India.
• They must have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years for admission to undergraduate program
• They should have completed their qualifying examinations in India

Eligibility Criteria in Qualifying Examination: Candidates should have either completed or appeared for any one of the following examinations:

• 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any State Board
• Central Board of Higher Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi)
• The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi)
• National Institute of Open School
• Intermediate Or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or equivalent

Age Limit and Age Relaxation:

• Candidates who have not completed 25 years of age as of 1st July of the year of admission will be eligible.

Qualifying Examinations: All the candidates must have either completed or appeared for any one of the following examinations, have a look:

• The applicants must have cleared class 10+2 Higher Secondary Education conducted by a recognized state board/ national board/university, High School Certificate Exam of Cambridge University or equivalent.

Eligibility Criteria for BTech Admission 

• Undergraduate Programs: The applying candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCM i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• For Engineering and Technology: A minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• For Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering: The candidate must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, chemistry and biology.
• For BTech Lateral Entry: A Pass in Diploma Recognized by Central or State Government with 50% aggregate / B.Sc. with Mathematics or its equivalent.
• For BArch: The candidates must have passed in 10+2 or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 50% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study.
  • The candidate must have cleared 10+3 Diploma (Any Stream) recognized by the Central / State Government with 50% aggregate marks. 
  • The candidate must have passed the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. However, the candidates have to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to the BArch program.

BEEE Admission Process 2023

BEEE Exam Pattern 2023

The important features of the BEEE exam pattern are listed below: 

• The BEEE exam is divided into 3 main sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 
• Total number of questions asked in the exam will be 70. 
• For every correct answer, teh candidates will be given 1 mark. 
• No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. 
• The candidates must be able to complete the BEEE exam within 3 hours. 

BEEE Admit Card 2023

The admit card will be released on the official website of the university. The admit card will be available to the students whose application form has been accepted. All the students are required to carry the admit card with a valid identity proof to the designated exam center. The information on the BEEE admit card must be clearly comprehensible and must not contain any discrepancies. The process to download the admit card has been mentioned in the following steps:

BEEE Exam Centers

The applicants can select their preferred exam cities while filling the application form. The allotment of BEEE exam centers will be done as per the candidate's preference and availability of seats at the respective exam center. The candidates will not be allowed to change their exam center once the application form is submitted. The allotted exam center will be mentioned on the candidates’ hall ticket.

Once the candidates arrive at the exam center, they will be required to show their admit card and identity proofs. The following documents must be carried to the examination center for the verification purposes: 

• A Passport 
• Admit card for the Assam CEE entrance exam
• Driving License 
• Passport size photograph
• PAN Card 
• Aadhar Card 
• Voter I-Card
• Vaccination Certificate

BEEE Answer/Response Key

The BEEE 2023 answer key was released online by the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER), Chennai on its official portal. To estimate the approximate score, the candidates can make use of the answer key provided by the university. When using the answer key, the candidates must use the official marking scheme as mentioned above. The exam conducting authority will release two answer keys, the provisional answer key and the final answer key. The final answer key will be released once the obligations against the provisional answer key are acknowledged. The candidates may download the answer key by following the steps listed below: 

Step 1: Open the official website of BIHER on your computer. 

Step 2: Click on the BEEE 2023 answer key link on the main page. 

Step 3: The page will be directed to a new page for the downloading of the answer key 

Step 4: The answer key will be displayed on the candidates’ screen in the PDF format. The answer key can now be saved for usage. 

BEEE Result 2023

The Bharat Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) will publish the result for the BEEE Examination on its official website. The candidates can access their scorecard by logging in their account with the help of application ID and password. The BEEE result will be required during the counseling process, hence, the candidates are required to preserve the result until the admission process is concluded. The procedure to download the result from the official website of BIHER is listed below: 

Step 1: Go to the BIHER official website.

Step 2: Click on the direct link to check BEEE result displayed on the website homepage. 

Step 3: Enter the login credentials in the required fields - application number and mobile number, password in the given boxes 

Step 4: The result of BEEE 2023 will be displayed on screen which can be downloaded with the BEEE scorecard and result for future reference.

Cut Off Marks

The cut off marks for the shortlisting of the candidates for the counseling round. The candidates can download the official cut off marks from the BIHER portal. The factors affecting the cut off marks are listed below: 

• Previous year BEEE cutoff trends.
• The total number of applicants.
• The difficulty level of BEEE 2023.
• Average score obtained in the exam.
• The total number of available B.Tech seats.

BEEE Counseling Session 2023

The counseling session will be conducted once all the preliminary stages of the admission process have been completed. In the counseling session, the candidates will have to report to the allotted counseling center to complete the registration process. Once the registration is complete, the candidates will have to fill in their choices for preferred colleges. The seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their rank and preference of college mentioned during choice filling. On the successful completion of the allotment process, the candidates can complete the admission formalities at the allocated college/university.

• Anti ragging joint undertaking by parent/guardian and student

BEEE Scholarship 

The high ranking candidates will be able to avail scholarships offered by the university. The list of scholarships provided are as follows: 

• 100% of Tuition fees granted as scholarship for Top 50 Rank Holders in BEEE 2023.
• 100% of Tuition fees granted as scholarship for State Toppers of all Boards.
• 50% of Tuition fees granted as scholarship for 51 - 250 Rank Holders in BEEE 2023.
• 25% Tuition fees granted as scholarship for Ranks 251 to 500 in entrance conducted by BEEE 2023.
• 100% of Tuition fees granted as scholarships for students who Participated / Won in National Sports & events.
• 50% of Tuition fees granted as scholarships for students who Participated / Won in State level Sports & events.
• 25% of Tuition fees granted as scholarship for students Participated / Won in District level Sports & events. (Note: Students eligible for sports scholarships will have to be certified by the Dept. of Physical Education from the University. Note: The students sports participation shall be monitored during the academic year)
• Students who applied for IIT/JEE and STATE ENTRANCE EXAMS will be granted for Scholarships on Rank Basis.
• The above-listed scholarship is not applicable for admissions into Architecture, Science & Humanities and PG Courses.
