To find the overall percentage of candidates short-listed over eligible from all states together for Post I, use the formula:

Formula used:

Percentage = (Total Short-Listed ÷ Total Eligible) × 100

Calculation:

Eligible (Post I):

A = 2500

B = 3200

C = 2800

D = 2400

E = 3000

F = 4800

G = 6500

Total Eligible = 2500 + 3200 + 2800 + 2400 + 3000 + 4800 + 6500 = 25,200

Short-Listed (Post I):

A = 65

B = 220

C = 280

D = 85

E = 120

F = 325

G = 550

Total Short-Listed = 65 + 220 + 280 + 85 + 120 + 325 + 550 = 1,645

Final Calculation:

Percentage = (1645 ÷ 25200) × 100 ≈ 6.5%

Final Answer: 6.5%
