Concept:
- The surface on which the potential at each point is the same/equal is called the equipotential surface.
- The electric field lines will be perpendicular to the equipotential surface always.
- In the case of a point charge, due to symmetry, the electric field at the surface of the sphere will be the same for the whole surface.
