A + B + C = 73 ----- (1)
A + B = 71 ----- (2)
B + C = 75 ----- (3)
Substitute (2) in (1)
⇒ 71 + C = 73
⇒ C = 73 - 71
⇒ C = 2 ----- (4)
Substitute (4) in (3)
⇒ B + C = 75
⇒ B + 2 = 75
⇒ B = 75 - 2
⇒ B = 73
∴ The age of B is 73.
