Given:

Raju's initial amount = ₹11,000

Raju's weekly saving = ₹5,000

Ramesh's initial amount = ₹60,000

Ramesh's weekly spending = ₹2,000

Formula used:

Raju's amount after n weeks = Initial amount + (weekly saving × n)

Ramesh's amount after n weeks = Initial amount - (weekly spending × n)

Calculations:

Raju's amount after n weeks = 11000 + 5000n

Ramesh's amount after n weeks = 60000 - 2000n

We need to find n when both amounts are equal:

11000 + 5000n = 60000 - 2000n

⇒ 11000 + 5000n = 60000 - 2000n

⇒ 5000n + 2000n = 60000 - 11000

⇒ 7000n = 49000

⇒ n = 49000 / 7000

⇒ n = 7

∴ The correct answer is option (1).
