Formula used:
Intersecting Secants TheoremLC × LD = LB × AL
Calculations :
According to the question
LC × LD = LB × AL
6 × (6 + 11) = 4 × (4 + x)
⇒ 4 + x = 51/2
⇒ 4 + x = 25.5
⇒ x = AB = 21.5
∴ The length of AB is 21.5 cm.
