5x + 3y = 15 and 2xy = 6

Formula used:

(a - b)2 = (a + b)2 - 4ab

Calculation:

(5x - 3y)2 =  (5x + 3y)2 - 4 × 5x.3y

⇒ 152 - 30 × 2xy

⇒ 225 - 180 = 45

(5x - 3y) = √45

⇒ \(3\sqrt5\)

∴ The correct option is 2
