Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFGiven:
There are two statements given in the question.
Formula used:
Distance = Speed × Time
1 km = 1000 meters
1 hour = 3600 seconds
Calculation:
In statement I,
The speed of vehicle = 30.6 km/hr = (30.6 × 1000)/3600 m/s = 8.5 m/s
Hence, the statement I is false.
In statement II,
The speed of bus = 72 km/hr = (72 × 1000)/3600 m/s = 20 m/s
The bus will cover in 10 seconds = 20 × 10 = 200 meters
Hence, the statement II is false.
Therefore, both Statement I and Statement II are false.
