Given:

A shopkeeper sold 10 toffees for Rs. 6

Calculation:

Selling price of each toffee 6/10 = Rs. 0.6

The shopkeeper gain 20%, which means CP : SP = 5 : 6

Here, 6 unit → 0.6

Then, CP = 5 unit → \(\frac{0.6}{6}\) × 5 = Rs. 0.5

With the cost price of Rs. 0.5, he get 1 toffee

Then, with the price of Rs. 4, he get = \(\frac{1}{0.5}\) × 4 = 8

∴ The correct answer is 8
