To qualify for college application, the candidates must compulsorily score above the cutoff score. The expected Cut Off score would act as a source of perspective with regards to how much the competitors should score for admission to their college of choice.
The expected category-wise qualifying marks to secure TS POLYCET for 2025 are as follows:
Category | Minimum percentage required | Minimum marks required |

SC / ST Candidates | No minimum percentage | No minimum marks |
TS POLYCET 2025: Qualifying Cutoff vs Admission cutoff
The qualifying cutoff is the minimum mark that a candidate must have to stand eligible to apply for college. If a candidate fails to meet this qualifying cutoff, he/she will not be a part of the rank list. only such candidates who qualify in the TS POLYCET 2025 exam will get a rank and will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
On the other hand, the Admission cutoff is the minimum mark required for admission. A candidate must score higher than the admission cutoff to secure a seat for the same. Scoring the marks as per the admission Cut Off can guarantee admission.
Factors determining the TS POLYCET 2025 cutoff
The TS POLYCET cutoff is not constant. It varies from year to year. Multiple factors lead to variation in the cutoff. Some of them are as follows:
- Number of applications received by the candidates: The more candidates apply for the TS POLYCET Exam, the higher the Cut Off for the exam and vice versa.
- Number of candidates appearing: If more candidates appear in the TS LAWCET Exam, Cut Off for the exam will be higher and vice versa.
- The difficulty level of the TS POLYCET Examination: Tough question paper may lead to a lower cut-off, and an easy or moderate question paper may result in a higher cut-off.
- The total number of seats allotted for admission: The number of seats offered during the admission influences the Cut Offs and is interlinked with the number of candidates appearing for the examination. If the number of candidates sitting for the TS POLYCET is greater than the availability of seats, the Cut Offs are likely to be high and vice versa.
- Category of the appearing candidate: Cutoffs and qualifying marks vary according to the candidate’s category they belong to, such as General, SC, and ST.
TS POLYCET Closing Ranks for SC/ST/OBC/Gen
TS POLYCET has certain reservations of seats for various categories. The cutoff for reserved categories tends to go lower than for the general category. These include SC and ST. The relaxation provided to them is based on government norms. The Closing Ranks are not yet released for the year 2022 admissions.
