Amid its pursuit to revamp its image and streamline its services to aid the customers railway has announced has launched an all new application. Railway travelers would now be able to access the Rail One application for all their travelling needs. From Meals to cabs and all other needs, After its recent unveiling by Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the application is being praised for its objective to integrate passenger services like ticket booking grievance redressal and Last mile connectivity in a single platform.
The RailOne application has been authorized by India railway catering as well as the Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). The application has been targeted to offer the users with an ease of travel experience and providing them a centralized platform for organizing different necessities that can enhance their travelling experience.
RailOne App Features
The Railone would be a one stop solution for all the passengers, with the new application, users would be able to get an easy access to Ticketing services, platform tickets, train and PNR enquiry, journey planning, rail help services and meal booking in the train. Beyond these the facilities for enquiries related to freight would also be included in the applications operating interface. Such a streamlined application further help Railway to offer their customers with an ease of access for different services that the railway offers.

A new feature of the phone would be a single sign on feature, this would help the users to save themselves from the hassle of remembering multiple passwords. Users only have to download the application on your IOS or Android device. Log in using the existing user iD or rail connect or UTSon mobile application.

The New application has been launched with an all new modern PRS system, the feature has been designed to be “ agile, Multilingual and scalable to handle 10 times the current load, easing the travel of the passengers with ease. The formidable dynamics of the application allow it to be capable of booking 1.5 lakh tickets and address 40 lakh enquiries per minute. Users would be able to use the application for
Booking reserved and Unreserved tickets, Booking plat form tickets, Enquiring About Trains, Checking PNR status, help users plan their journey and Access rail madad services and order food on your train.
