Neeraj Chopra did not have a successful first throw and in his second throw, reached the distance of 82.39m, placing him on 4th position in the list. However, what poses a real threat to the Indian champions is Peters Anderson who looks undefeatable.

In the first throw, Peters registered a distance of 90.21m. Whereas Neeraj has never crossed the mark of 90m so far, it is his dream for this year.

If the 24-year-old Indian manages to throw his spear crossing the mark of 90m, only he will come back in the competition for gold but will set a new personal best record for himself.

Peters is currently having the best throw of 90.46m and stands on top of the table. Vadlejch on the second position and Norweigan Etelatalo on the third.
