Temba Bavuma On Verge Of Breaking Big Record In WTC Final Against Australia

South African captain Temba Bavuma will be part of history as he will lead the Proteas in the World Test Championship final against Australia.

South Africa registered a commanding ten-wicket victory over Pakistan in the second Test played at the Sahara Park Newlands in Cape Town. The Temba Bavuma led side showcased a tremendous performance and ended up winning the match and the series by 2-0. Bavuma displayed brilliant captaincy and batting performance which has helped his side secure a place in the World Test Championship 2023-25 final. The Proteas will be looking forward on repeating their same performance against Australia as well at the Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Temba Bavuma Achieves Elite Milestone

Bavuma achieved his eighth as the captain of South Africa in Tests and is tied with Australia’s Warwick Armstrong in the list of Test captains without losing a match in at least eight games If Bavuma is able to defeat Australia in the WTC final he will become the captain with most wins in Test cricket (8 matches) without losing any match.
