Dry Run For King and Hitman!

Rohit and Kohli have their places in the Test lineup seriously under doubt after giving a below-par performance during the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy test. Rohit played between two of the strongest Australian bowlers but managed to score only 31 runs (across five innings), while Kohli was with them during 17 innings and with a total of 190 runs. India was defeated 1-3 in the series and was the first time after the last 10 years that it failed to take the Border-Gavaskar Trophy home.

Yuvraj Singh On Both Players

“Playing domestic cricket is very important. All along, I had felt that if you had time and were out of form, you should try to play domestic cricket at the best opportunity. It is the best practice and match time that you can get out of it. I feel that domestic cricket is important if you are not injured and you have time,” Yuvraj Singh said via India Today on Thursday.

Probably Kohli will be included in Delhi’s for the remainder of the Ranji Trophy while Rohit has been practicing in the Mumbai team. Yet their reason for playing the upcoming set of games wasn’t officially cited.

Upcoming ODI Series and Champions Trophy

The two, Kohli and Rohit, are anticipated to be quite pivotal in the upcoming tour of India for the ODI series and the Champions Trophy. India and England will face each other in three ODIs on February 6, 9, and 12. The Champions Trophy event begins on February 19.

India is in Group A with New Zealand, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, with Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan placed in Group B. Pakistan and the UAE will host the matches.
