The Board Of Control Cricket In India (BCCI) has decided to continue the ongoing IPL 2025 after 1 week, which means that the IPL 2025 has been suspended for a week with immediate effect.
The decision was taken during the meeting with IPL Governing Council and Stakeholders, which mostly includes all franchise-owners. The new schedules and venues yet to be decided after assessing the situation.
Fans and franchises all have come to support of the Indian Armed Forces in this tough situation. The Board has considered it prudent to act in the collective interest of all stakeholders.

Earlier, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken the decision to suspend the Indian Premier League (IPL) amid the rising India-Pakistan tensions. The decision comes after after the Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals match was abandoned and the audience were asked to leave the Dharamsala stadium immediately after blackout.
