India has been thrashed by the Kangaroos in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in 2024-25 edition. But there was one man that was standing between the Australians and the Trophy like a wall and it was none other than Jasprit Bumrah. Although Bumrah was the highest wicket-taker in the tournamnet but he did bowl the maximum overs for India. It was Mohammad Siraj who led the bowling charge in the absence of bumrah and Bowled a total of 157 overs in the tournament. Jasprit Bumrah on the other hand has bowled 151 overs.

Bumrah was also seen leaving the ground during the second day of the Sydney test. He was taken to the hospital for the scans as we could very well see the toll on his body and it is more necessary than anytime that Jasprit Bumrah should have some rest before the Champions Trophy 2025. In the midst of this all we must not forget about Siraj that he should be rested for time as well. Bowling a total of 671 overs is not everyone’s cup of tea afterall.
