Star All-Rounder To Make Test Debut

As per a report by The Indian Express, Indian all rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy is expected to make his Test debut during the IND vs AUS 1st Test to be played in Perth. The report states that Perth’s Optus Stadium is expected to have good pace and carry which makes Reddy the perfect candidate to back his selection. Mohammed Shami, who made a return from ankle injury in the Ranji Trophy isn’t the part of the squad.

Since, Hardik Pandya is not the part of the Test squad, Nitish Kumar Reddy could be a decent candidate to fill in his shoes. Shardul Thakur tried to make his place in the Test squad as an all-rounder but at the end, he is more of a bowler than a batter, also, he is not the part of the current Indian team setup after he recovered from his injury.
