Rahul accommodating to multiple roles
Rahul has batted at many positions over the years. though he has had success at batting on 4 and 5 but had to bat at 6 and 7 according to the team’s needs. He has performed well as an opener but did not get many opportunities in that role and had to accommodate according to the team’s strategies. Rahul debuted as a middle-order batter in the Test cricket but was seen batting at 3 in this Border Gavaskar Trophy. During the first 3 matches he was seen opening for team India but in the 4th Test, he was shifted to 3 and was again shifted to being an opener in the final Test match.
